On Friday, February 28, 2025, representatives from the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) and state and local officials took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the reopening of the recently renovated Claiborne Public Boat Ramp on the Alabama River in Monroe County.
