We don’t like corrections, but we like errors even less, especially when I make them. Last week, based on reports from sources, I wrote that SCCY Firearms was apparently closing. That was wrong. I spoke with SCCY Firearms’ Joe Roebuck yesterday and he assured me that while SCCY has “strategically downsized” in order to “address the current challenging economic environment” – they’re still in business. In fact, t a new product in their development pipeline sounds very interesting. “Downsizing” and “closing” are entirely different situations. The error was mine, and it’s another reason why I prefer being “right” on reporting more than being “first.”
