A hoot-owl fishing restriction on the Madison River upstream of Hebgen Reservoir, in Montana, has been lifted thanks to recent cooler water temperatures. The restriction had been in place since July 10 for the river between Hebgen Reservoir and the Yellowstone National Park boundary.
