Each spring, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks receives calls from people who have picked up baby wildlife they've found in town, their yards, or in the wild. Remember, if you care, leave them there.

As the weather warms, thousands of hungry black bears across northern Michigan will leave their dens and go hunting for food that could include bird seed, pet food and garbage. Wildlife experts from the Michigan DNR urge residents to be diligent this spring by removing bird feeders and pet food from outdoors, using bear-resistant garbage cans and keeping grills and patio furniture clean.

Spend some time this spring in Nebraska's state parks. During April, a variety of events are planned for those for all ages and interests. Don't forget to purchase a vehicle park entry permit to enter the state parks. Get one at OutdoorNebraska.gov or at state park entrances.

Officials from Alabama State Parks and the Von Braun Astronomical Society gathered Thursday with city leaders and representatives from NASA to dedicate a Moon Tree – a tree grown from seeds flown on American spacecraft in lunar orbit – that has been planted at Monte Sano State Park.
