Mat Lomas began his metal detecting hobby like many others – on a beach. When asked what type of area he now hunts, Mat shared, “I detect a variety of places. I’ll help people find lost items on the beach, search for lost homesites in the woods, detect old yards, but my real passion is detecting privies and under homes in Historic Downtown Charleston.”
