After three white-tailed deer tested positive for chronic wasting disease near Bonners Ferry, the portion of Unit 1 within Boundary County, Idaho, and east of the Selkirk Mountains crest in the Panhandle Region has been designated as a new CWD Management Zone. As of October 1, hunters within the new Unit 1 CWD Management Zone must follow these additional rules.
