An Indiana Conservation Officer (ICO) is being credited with saving a life after helping rescue a woman from a house fire. On Aug. 26 at 12:20 p.m., ICO Kendrick Fuhrman was on patrol when he responded to a call of a house fire in the 800 block of High Street in the town of Shoals. One of the first to arrive on scene, he was told by bystanders that people were still inside the home.
