Top 10 Teams at Lake Dardanelle Earn Automatic Qualification into 2026 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship

This past weekend, the Association of Collegiate Anglers contested its second event of the 2025-26 season on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. The AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open saw more than 280 elite college teams compete for more than $20,000 in prizes and contingencies, as well as double points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia. Additionally, the Top 10 teams in the final tournament standings earned automatic qualification into the 2026 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.

Grizzly Bear Captured and Relocated in Cody Region

After consultation with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department captured and relocated a subadult male grizzly bear on Oct. 11, 2025. The grizzly bear was captured on private land in Park County for frequenting a housing area and after multiple hazing attempts failed to change its behavior.

North Dakota: Game and Fish Monitoring EHD-related Mortality

The state Game and Fish Department is allowing hunters with whitetail or “any” deer gun licenses in five units in western North Dakota the option of turning those licenses in for refunds.
